Jamie K. Dodrill:
Jamie is a 2005 graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio where she studied Fine Art, focusing in Drawing and Photography. There she developed a deeply emotional and intense creative process, while studying the works and techniques of history's master artists. After graduating, she spent a year working with the non-profit organization, Art for a Child's Safe America Foundation, established by well-known artist Stephen Canneto. "ArtSafe" affirmed Jamie's belief that even the most complex human emotion can be expressed and recognized through art.
Jamie now brings her abilities to the canvas in her most recent works; realistic paintings and portraits based on photographs. She creates the portraits using black and white, emphasizing the dramatic and powerful contrasts between dark shadows and brilliant highlights.
Jamie currently resides in Georgia with her husband.
